Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Govt. Dental College and Hospital, cuddalore dist. trains UG and PG students in replacement of missing teeth and facial parts with removable dentures, fixed bridges and implant prosthesis. This department teaches dental material science, removable and fixed prosthesis to UG students in all the five years of their UG programme. The Post graduate students are given additional training in the advanced treatment modalities of implant prosthesis, maxillofacial prosthesis, full mouth rehabilitation, smile design and management of TMD. This department fulfills the tooth replacement needs of the people of cuddalore and neighbouring districts of tamilnadu. This department is a trusted centre for teeth replacement in the region.
